Mémoire

In front of this vast water, between the branches and the mountains, facing what is calm while being chaotic, the artist finds humanity in nature.

In these vast then restricted landscapes, Duval lost her heart and eyes, her ideas and her childhood. With the sound of the waves breaking on the quay and the salty wind, the artist has seen the years go by.

Several years have passed. A new house has become home.

While the artist found herself in a city that did not belong to her and to which she did not belong, in this river and these forests she lost herself in her head to find herself again for a moment.

In these new landscapes made of people she lost herself to really find herself. She jumped onto the open sea and learned.

This series is a homage to those landscapes that feel safe and that give her a smile when the waves of humans are no longer enough.
